Studio 23 .. Kabarkada Ko!

I know. As a Filipino citizen, it would probably be more appropriate if I post a blog about my thoughts on the recent happenings of our country. So much is going on and so much is being said. I do have my own opinions and a blog may not be enough. Maybe next time. Definitely not today.

That being said, let me tell you about my Saturday night with Studio 23.

Jessica, my sister, won a barkada gimik courtesy of Studio 23. I was really excited when I got the news that someone from Studio 23 called her up. I was in the library and I was really giddy. My classmates saw the excitement in me.

You couldn't blame me! I was the one who encouraged my sister to join. When I saw the ad, I asked her how many from her barkada celebrated their birthdays recently. She said quite a number. It just so happened that a few weeks after, my classmate had a hand-out about the contest. So that same night, I handed it to my sister and she quickly sent an e-mail on the eve of February 13.

And so she won! The party was good for 20 people. Dinner was at Pacific Harbor and the party continued at Liquid. My mom, dad, Johanna, Jeremy, Jessica and I were at Pacific Harbor a little before 7. There was a huge Studio 23 cake. Tita Dawn, Nico and Tita Grace came. The rest of the gang were Jessica's barkada.

And so they came! Studio 23 VJs Beau, Juddha and Ayanna were present. And so was Patty of Breakfast and Vincent of Wazzup, Wazzup! I must say that Juddha is hottah hottah jud! All of them were super bait! They were all game for the picture taking. Beau and Juddha were the one who really reached out. Juddha talked with my mom and dad (daddy nga tawag ni Juddha sa daddy ko!) My sister had a great chat with Juddha as well. We got to talk with Beau, who wants to spread the word on his segment Beau Knows on Sports TV every Saturday on where else, Studio 23.

Anyhow, after dinner, we trooped to Liquid. It was still quite early so there weren't much people around. By brother, Jeremy, was allowed to go inside, considering that my mom and dad went with us. After a while, my dad and brother left. Soon, Tita Dawn, Tita Grace and Nico also left. We left at around 1:00 a.m. It was my first time at Liquid. At around 12:00 mn, it was really crowded. I did see a lot of familiar faces though. It's a small world after all.

Anyhow, it was one great Saturday! I got to hang-out with some celebrities, most especially Juddha. I just have to say that Juddha rocks. He was really nice. And really good looking. He is the most guwapo out of all the local male celebrities I have seen in person, as far as I can remember. Take note, I have seen the Hunks in person. Maybe I just had higher expectations as to other celebrities that when I saw them in person, it was just an OK moment. As to Juddha, I knew he was good looking. But I guessed I managed my expectations well since it turned out that he was really better looking as I imagined him to be. And he is a bit tall than I expected. Aside from Juddha and the rest of the celebrities, we had some free stuff as well – dinner, shirts, post-its and entrance to Liquid. It was really a nice experience.

Just in case you're wondering, just like my classmates, on why I didn't join, well, I have more than 20 people to invite. I'm pretty sure it would be a difficult task on deciding who to invite (char lang!). Ewan ko! I just felt that it would be something for my sister, Jessica.

Something to look forward this week is the "coverage" of the gimik. So try to stay tune to Studio 23 and maybe you'll see me... hehe. Wazzup, Wazzup also interviewed my sister and her friends (yes, they did the wazzup, wazzup gesture!) So watch out for it!

Thanks to Studio 23! Studio 23 rocks! I am already a fan of Studio 23 before... more so after the Barkada Gimik!
