At last! Conflict of Laws is over and done with.
The past three days was quite a blast, with a whirlwind of rollercoaster emotions.
What did I do? Pretty much of the time was spent practicing for a dance showcase (what dance?). Some time was spent handling my emotions, deciding whether to continue to participate to dance or whether to confront people. I don't want to get angry with others, even though I know we were side-lined. The dance was completed on the day of competition. Just think of how we were able to handle that and still come up with a complete dance!
Aside from that, I also got to cheer other first year students. I gave full support to my dearest classmates. I am proud of them and always make sure that they know that fact.
I got to participate in the Fun Run at 4:30 a.m. We placed last in the Legal Pictionary. But it was fun. For sure, if there was an award for best comedic performance, we surely could have bagged that one.
So here are my Top 5 Great Moments in the Conflict of Laws 2006:
1. Dance Showcase --I got to participate in the Dance Showcase where we placed 3rd. We danced to the tune of Hung Up by Madonna and Bebot of Black Eyed Peas.
2. Legal Pictionary--I think I am better with Charades... hehe. But we were OK because it was fun. We made other people laugh!
3. Emotions--It was a whirlwind of emotions. There's frustration, nervousness, excitement and maybe anger. That's life!
4. Cheers--It is fun to be at the sideline and just cheer for your bet and just having faith that they will make it.
5. Friends--This is the best thing that has happened! I have widened my social circle and I am happy with the new people I have met. So just in case if I became a celebrity, I think I could have probably a solid fan base!
Until next year!
