Walk-out

Have you ever walked-out on somebody?

I may have but cannot remember such incident. Although it's also likely that I haven't done it. I'm not sure ...

Has somebody ever walked-out on you?

Yes .. but not really because of me, just the whole class. Some teachers do this. One of our teachers just did it last night. She had her usual lecture. We thought she was in a good mood. And then nobody volunteered to answer her question about a case. I'm pretty sure that a number of us read the case. We probably just didn't know how to answer the question to our teacher's expectation .. maybe we were just afraid! Then, we were supposed to answer it in a sheet of paper. But guess what? Only a handful had paper! That made her walk-out! I won't take it away from our teacher .. it is her right. At the same time, I wouldn't let it eat up my system and worry over it. I'll just read and read. I respect her action .. that's the way the cookie crumbles!

By the way, since we're talking about walk, I just had to mention that I really like the song Walking in Memphis. I don't think a lot of people are familiar about it .. but it is just nice. I think using this song in an X-Files episode adds to its likeness factor for me. Hmmm... I wonder when I will be walking in Memphis.
